In an article published by Sports Chosun, singer Hwasa expressed her satisfaction with her U.S. tour. On the YouTube channel ‘Reporter’s Heart Interview,’ a video titled ‘A Must Watch for Aspiring Queens’ was uploaded, featuring Hwasa during her North American tour. During her LA performance, she wore a sparkling bodysuit, captivating the stage with her charisma.
Discussing her tour, Hwasa explained, “It’s not a concert per se but a live tour. I wanted to do it right but felt unprepared, wanting to gather more songs and enrich the setlist. Since many people pay high prices to attend, I didn’t want it to seem lacking. I waited for good songs to accumulate. Then, Psy simply suggested doing a fan con if a concert felt burdensome, saying I should just enjoy meeting fans.”
Hwasa put more effort into the American performances, feeling less constrained by limits compared to Korea. She found it liberating stating, “I wanted to go without any restrictions regarding content,” expressing joy at the American audience’s positive reception.
In another part of the video, Hwasa talked about dealing with malicious comments, stating, “Being a ‘hot girl’ is really tough. I shed a lot of tears. I consider criticism as envy.”
Previously, Hwasa faced criticism for wearing a tight bodysuit at the 2018 MAMA and for a controversial performance at a college festival in 2023. She later appeared on a YouTube content, ‘Eat Breakfast and Leave,’ where she acknowledged the discomfort her performances caused to some, indicating she should reflect on it.
