# Mr. B was registered as a delinquent taxpayer for not paying the capital gains tax on the land he sold, despite having received the funds. Anticipating that the tax authority would seize an expensive apartment owned by his mother after her death which he would inherit, Mr. B negotiated with other heirs and relinquished his share of the inheritance of the apartment. Instead, he arranged for the other heirs to pay cash to his spouse. The National Tax Service indicted Mr. B, the other heirs, and Mr. B’s spouse as collaborators in tax evasion for hiding the inheritance property.
