Heo Eun-ah, the leader of the Reform Party, revealed on the 30th that last July she received a phone call from Kim Keon-hee, the wife of President Yoon Seok-yeol, who expressed her disappointment with Han Dong-hoon, the leader of the People Power Party.
During an appearance on CBS Radio’s “Kim Hyun-jung’s News Show,” Heo stated, “On July 12th, I was grieving the passing of my father-in-law, and Ms. Kim called to offer her condolences. She expressed regret for not being able to attend in person. We talked about various things, and I sensed some dissatisfaction or slight displeasure regarding Han Dong-hoon.”
The host pointed out that the call coincided with a controversy during the People Power Party convention, where Han Dong-hoon was criticized for not responding to a text message from Ms. Kim, known as the “read but not reply” issue. Heo commented, “That’s probably why she felt disappointed. I could sense her frustration.”
Heo also mentioned, “(Ms. Kim) suggested meeting in person, but I declined.”
