‘[Herald Economic = Park Sung-jun Reporter] Hanwha Life Financial Service announced on the 27th that it has become the first in the corporate insurance agency (GA) industry to receive the nationally recognized ‘Information Security and Personal Information Protection Management System (ISMS-P)’ certification.’
The ISMS-P certification system is the most authoritative integrated certification system for information and personal information protection in Korea. It is operated by the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) under a joint announcement by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Personal Information Protection Commission. KISA is an organization established to promote the advancement and safe use of information and communication networks.
To obtain this certification, a company must pass a rigorous review based on 80 certification criteria in the information security management system area and 21 certification criteria in the personal information protection area.
Hanwha Life Financial Service explained that it received the certification by being highly recognized for the stability and reliability of its integrated business support platform, ‘Orange System.’ Orange System provides features such as ▷ customer management ▷ protection analysis ▷ contract and performance management.
With this ISMS-P certification, the company plans to further enhance its security and reliability, continuing its growth and innovation.
A representative for customer information protection at Hanwha Life Financial Service stated, “This certification is a result of continuous investment in strengthening information and personal information protection,” and added, “We will continue to do our best to protect valuable customer information and provide a safe and reliable service.”
Meanwhile, Hanwha Life Financial Service was the first in the GA industry to receive an ‘A+’ rating from the three major domestic credit rating agencies in December last year.
