G-Dragon becomes a visiting professor at KAIST… before his comeback.

[OSEN=by Jang Wooyoung] Singer G-Dragon is appointed as a special adjunct professor at KAIST.

According to OSEN on the 5th, G-Dragon will receive an appointment letter as a special adjunct professor at KAIST in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon, on the day of the ‘Innovate Korea 2024’ talk show held at the Ryu Geun-cheol Sports Complex at KAIST headquarters.

‘Innovate Korea 2024’ is an event hosted by KAIST, the National Science and Technology Research Council (NST), and Herald Media Group, where G-Dragon will host a talk show with KAIST President Lee Kwang-hyung and Galaxy Corporation’s Chief Happiness Officer (CHO) Choi Yong-ho.

It is expected that G-Dragon will talk about the future of K-pop that incorporates K-content with AI technology during the talk show, and there is anticipation whether he will reveal details about his comeback and new album scheduled for the second half of the year.

Since signing with Galaxy Corporation in December last year, G-Dragon has been showing interest and progress in AI-related technology. He also attended the world’s largest electronics and IT exhibition, CES 2024, held in Las Vegas in January.

Meanwhile, G-Dragon is currently preparing for a new album with the goal of making a comeback in the second half of this year. It has been about 7 years since he released a solo album in Korea back in 2017. /[email protected]
