Lee Hee-chul’s brother revealed this information to OSEN on the 8th, stating, “Although my brother’s health wasn’t great recently, he was still healthy. It’s heartbreaking that he was healthy just the day before,” while expressing his deep sorrow.
The family aims to clarify the exact cause of death to dispel unnecessary speculation and ensure a peaceful passing for the deceased.
Lee Hee-chul’s brother also conveyed, “Our brother, who was always full of energy and love, unexpectedly left for a long journey to the heavens on the 7th due to a heart attack. He always valued and prioritized those around him as much as his family, and, though he appeared strong, he was very sensitive. Please help ensure that our brother, who loved to laugh and converse in the company of many, does not feel lonely on his final journey, making it more beautiful. We will never forget everyone’s precious thoughts.”
Lee Hee-chul’s death was reported through the satirical YouTuber. On the 7th, Satire posted on their SNS, “Although it is hard to believe even as I write this, I am leaving this message for those who loved my brother and have not yet heard the news. Our beloved Seoul Salon’s Lee Hee-chul has become a star in the sky today.”
The YouTuber continued, “Please pray that he finds a good place. It was so sudden, and many of his friends have not yet been contacted. Please reach out to me through my contact or DM for information about the funeral,” sharing the sad news.
Attention is also being paid to the final message left by the deceased on social media. On December 31, he opened up, “2024 was exhausting to the point where I wondered if it was okay to be this hard. It was indeed a year that tested both my physical and emotional health.” He continued, “I know well that you learn and grow as much as you suffer, so I intend to overcome it humbly and solidly, and I am grateful for it.” His positive outlook amidst difficulties had been encouraging for many.
Adding, “I will use the challenges of 2024 to enrich myself healthily. In 2025, let’s be healthier!” he wished for a year filled with gratitude with flexible living, receiving support from many.
