Everland in Hanbok, K-Play Event during Lunar New Year Holiday

Samsung C&T’s Resort Division, Everland, announced on the 20th that they will host a special event called “Exciting K-Play Competition” from January 25 to February 2 for a total of nine days to celebrate the extended Lunar New Year holiday. During this period, visitors can experience traditional Korean games made famous by a recent popular drama, including ddakji-chigi (a Korean traditional game played with folded paper), ssireum (Korean wrestling), and jegi-chagi (Korean hacky sack), among others.

Every day from 11:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Carnival Plaza will host the special event, allowing participants to freely experience five different traditional games by following tracks drawn on the ground. Teams composed of family, friends, or couples can enjoy exciting competitions, where the team that wins more games among the five provided will emerge victorious.

Additionally, the plaza will feature a mini board game zone where players can relive childhood memories by playing rock-paper-scissors to move forward on steps possessing special missions like “Advance 3 steps,” “Retreat 2 steps,” or “Switch places with the opponent.”

Visitors staying at the Everland Homebridge Cabin Hostel can also enjoy traditional games like jegi-chagi and tuho. Gifts, such as a round at the Anseong Benest Golf Club, hotel vouchers, and various holiday gift sets are available thanks to the opening of the Sejong-Pocheon Expressway section from Guri to Anseong.

At the Everland Zoo, participants who collect online mission stamps by visiting three out of five attractions can win prizes like Everland cash points, Ai Bao mugs, and tiger popcorn. Each participant will receive a random gift.
