Mercedes-Benz will unveil the second-generation completely redesigned “Mercedes-AMG GT” for the first time in South Korea at the 2025 Seoul Mobility Show. They will also introduce the luxury vehicle personalization program, “MANUFAKTUR.”
Starting with Media Day on the 3rd, Mercedes-Benz Korea announced their participation in the 2025 Seoul Mobility Show, displaying 15 top-tier vehicles and their luxury vehicle personalization program.
Matthias Luehrs, President of Mercedes-Benz Korea, stated, “For over 140 years, Mercedes-Benz has been leading the automotive industry through continuous innovation. Our core value in this journey is to build the car of our customers’ dreams. The top-tier vehicles and MANUFAKTUR program presented at this motor show are the results of our efforts to meet the high expectations of our Korean customers.”
The Mercedes-AMG GT, unveiled domestically for the first time on this day, is a high-performance 2-door coupe featuring motorsport DNA, offering powerful performance and a stylish design.
The “GT 55 4MATIC+” comes equipped with a 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine (M177) following the “One Man, One Engine” principle of Mercedes-AMG, combined with an AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT 9-speed transmission, achieving a maximum output of 476 horsepower. The maximum torque matches that of the GT R, which was the most powerful in the first-generation GT lineup, at 700 Nm.
The “GT 63 S E Performance” features a high-performance hybrid system that combines a 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine with an electric motor, making it the most powerful in the GT family. It reaches 100 km/h from a standstill in just 2.8 seconds, the fastest among mass-produced AMG vehicles, and includes a new cooling module based on Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula 1 racing car technology along with an AMG high-performance battery.
The “GT 55 4MATIC+” will be released in the domestic market in May, priced at 205.6 million won (including VAT and reflecting individual consumption tax reductions). The “GT 63 S E Performance” is slated for release in the second half of this year.
A variety of AMG models that combine style and driving performance will also be on display. The high-performance model “Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 4MATIC+ Coupe” will be unveiled for the first time in Korea at the Seoul Mobility Show.
The “AMG CLE Coupe” is considered a model that balances elegant design, AMG’s dynamic yet stable driving performance, and the latest technology, continuing the Mercedes-Benz dream car tradition. Set to be released in Korea in the second half of this year, it aims to meet customers’ expectations for high performance.
The “Mercedes-AMG E 53 Hybrid 4MATIC+ Edition 1” is a limited-edition vehicle featuring exclusive interior and exterior design elements and materials for the AMG E-Class. It leaves a strong impression with AMG’s black-finished Night Package, including an AMG-specific front grill, and sports carbon fiber side mirrors and a rear spoiler with the AMG Carbon Exterior Package.
The high-performance 2-door open model “Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 4MATIC+ Cabriolet,” released in February, will also be on display.
Mercedes-Benz Korea will also showcase the “G-Class Project Geländewagen,” created in collaboration with the global fashion brand Moncler, for the first time domestically at this mobility show. This model reinterprets 90s style with a modern lifestyle, representing the G-Class as a timeless brand icon, with only 20 units available worldwide.
The brand’s unique “Luxury Vehicle Personalization” program, “MANUFAKTUR,” is also being introduced at this Seoul Mobility Show. MANUFAKTUR offers Mercedes-Benz design options where customers can select special exterior colors and high-quality interior materials according to their preferences, focusing on flagship models like the S-Class, Mercedes-AMG, Mercedes-Maybach, and G-Class.
