“Earthquake fear in Santorini, Greece: 200 incidents in three days [World News]”

[News Today]

A steep mountain is collapsing, raising clouds of dust.

More than 200 earthquakes have been detected over three days since the 31st of last month on the Greek island of Santorini, a representative resort in the Mediterranean, and nearby islands.

The maximum magnitude reached 4.6.

As a result of the earthquakes, more than 1,000 people left Santorini by boat yesterday alone.

Many of the approximately 15,000 residents of Santorini spent the night outdoors, fearing building collapses.

The Greek authorities are implementing safety measures, such as issuing school closure orders, and are urging a calm response.
