In the ENA entertainment program ‘My Child’s Private Life’ aired on the 6th, the children of Do Kyung-wan and Jang Yoon-jeong prepared a reminder wedding for their grandparents celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
On this day, Do Yeon-woo explained the reason for preparing the reminder wedding, saying, “I was thinking about what to give as a gift for Grandma and Grandpa’s 50th wedding anniversary. I remembered Grandma mentioning she wanted to try on a dress.”
Do Yeon-woo’s grandmother expressed her anticipation, saying, “When I married Grandpa, color photos were expensive, so we could only take black and white photos.” Grandpa expressed gratitude to his grandson, saying, “I haven’t been able to buy nice clothes for my wife because I couldn’t earn much money. It feels nice to have my grandson dress her up instead.”
While the grandparents were getting ready, Do Yeon-woo and Do Ha-young appeared first for the photoshoot, dressed in a dress and tuxedo, and posed perfectly upon the photographer’s request, capturing attention.
After the grandparents finished their preparation and appeared, Grandpa couldn’t continue his words, saying, “Seeing Grandma in a dress, even at 70, she looks so beautiful.”
After finishing the reminder wedding photoshoot, Grandpa cautiously asked the photographer for a solo portrait.
Grandpa said, “When people get old and near the end of their life, they often say, ‘This photo came out so well, please make it my portrait.’ But not many people actually have a portrait photo. Seeing my face come out so handsome, I’m thrilled. I’ll keep this photo until I die and use it as my portrait.”
Watching from the studio, son Do Kyung-wan and daughter-in-law Jang Yoon-jeong shed tears.
Jang Yoon-jeong said, “Now, he’s very healthy. We would prefer he doesn’t say such things. It seems to have been a good memory.” Do Kyung-wan added, “It’s something everyone prepares for, but thanks to Yeon-woo, I was able to prepare well. I want to thank him.”
Meanwhile, Do Kyung-wan married singer Jang Yoon-jeong in 2013, and they have a son, Do Yeon-woo, and a daughter, Do Ha-young.
