Do Kyung-wan confesses to suffering from acute myelitis… “Tears, urine, and feces all turn red” (‘Four-Person Dining Table’)

Announcer-turned-broadcaster Do Kyung-wan confessed to suffering from acute osteomyelitis. On the Channel A program ‘Close Friends Documentary – 4-Person Dining Table’ aired on the 12th, Do Kyung-wan, along with Yun Hee-jeong, Lee Ji-ae, and Yoo Jeong-yeon, was seen being invited to a home.

During the broadcast, Do Kyung-wan shared, “Last year, something came out from under my nail, so I went to an orthopedic surgeon who told me to get surgery immediately.” He continued, saying, “After the surgery, when I went to change the dressing, it turned into a lump of pus. I was immediately transferred to a general hospital.”

He revealed, “It was acute osteomyelitis infected with mycobacterium tuberculosis in the bone. I underwent surgery five times. It’s a rare germ that doesn’t kill you. I was told I had to receive intravenous injections once a day, and was prescribed medication, saying, ‘If it’s not me, there’s no one to take care of the kid.'”

Do Kyung-wan also confessed that due to the side effects of antibiotics, his tears, urine, and stool turned red. He expressed his distress, saying, “My kidney function is also deteriorating and my fingernails are growing back oddly.” He showed his index fingernail that was growing unevenly.
