Dell Technologies unveiled three new gaming monitors and four new models in the ‘Dell Plus’ monitor series, designed for entertainment, photo/video editing, business, and other versatile uses, on September 2.
The new products include the gaming monitors Alienware 25 320Hz Gaming Monitor (AW2525HM), Dell 24 and 27 200Hz Monitors (SE2425HG and SE2725HG), Dell 27 Plus QHD USB-C Monitor (S2725DC), Dell 27 Plus QHD Monitor (S2725DSM), and Dell 24 and 27 Plus Monitors (S2725HSM and S2425HSM), making a total of seven models. Among these, the Dell 27 Plus QHD USB-C Monitor, Dell 27 Plus QHD Monitor, Dell 27 Plus Monitor, and Dell 24 Plus Monitor were released that day.
The ‘Alienware 25 320Hz Gaming Monitor’ features a 25-inch FHD (1920X1080) fast IPS panel with a reasonably priced range in the 300,000 KRW bracket. It offers high performance suitable for e-sports, characterized by a fast IPS panel, 320Hz refresh rate, and 0.5ms (GtG) response time to minimize input lag and ensure smooth transitions. It supports clean gameplay without screen tearing and stuttering through NVIDIA G-Sync compatibility, AMD FreeSync Premium, and VESA AdaptiveSync technology.
Additionally, it has an ergonomic stand adjustable to various angles, a minimalistic visual base, design for neat cable management, and a built-in headset hanger to maximize desk space efficiency.
The ‘Dell 24 200Hz Monitor’ and ‘Dell 27 200Hz Monitor (SE2725HG)’ with 24 and 27-inch FHD (1920×1080) fast IPS panels offer a combination of a price range in the 100,000 KRW bracket and premium specs suitable for gaming. The monitors feature a 200Hz refresh rate and a 1ms (GtG) response time, with HDMI VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) to ensure smooth gameplay without motion blur. AMD FreeSync Premium technology eliminates tearing, offering a seamless gaming environment. A maximum brightness of 300cd ensures a clear display, and settings can be quickly and easily adjusted with a rear joystick control.
All products support accurate 99% sRGB color coverage and HDR for vibrant content and have a ‘ComfortView Plus’ feature that reduces blue light emissions, reducing eye fatigue during extended gaming sessions.
The newly introduced monitors under the ‘Dell Plus’ series are mainstream monitors suitable for a variety of uses, including entertainment, learning, photo/video editing, and business. The ‘Dell 27 Plus QHD USB-C Monitor’ is a 27-inch QHD (2560×1440) monitor with a 16:9 aspect ratio and enhanced peripheral connectivity. It includes a USB-C cable supporting up to 65W charging for neat desk management and features pop-out USB-C and USB Type-A ports for added connectivity.
The ‘Dell 27 Plus QHD Monitor’ and the 24 and 27-inch FHD monitors ‘Dell 24 Plus Monitor’ and ‘Dell 27 Plus Monitor’ have a 1500:1 contrast ratio and integrated dual 3W speakers. They offer five audio modes for vivid content viewing and routine work. A 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms (GtG) response time with AMD FreeSync Premium technology ensure smooth visuals and uninterrupted performance.
