**Dassault Systèmes Joins Mosaixx to Expand Collaboration with 3DEXPERIENCE Platform**
“Dassault Systèmes is accelerating digital transformation (DX) in the manufacturing sector to respond to the growing demand for robotics and automation.”
Dassault Systèmes announced on the 25th that it signed a business agreement with KUKA at the ‘3DEXPERIENCE World 2025’, held in Houston, Texas, from the 23rd. This partnership was announced exclusively for the SOLIDWORKS and 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) platform user community.
Under the agreement, Dassault Systèmes is joining KUKA’s digital ecosystem ‘Mosaixx’ to provide KUKA customers with an easy way to purchase and use Dassault Systèmes’ 3DX platform and applications.
The collaboration will support manufacturing companies in driving operational innovation through the newly launched KUKA Digital. The two companies are confident in developing efficient and flexible automation solutions by expanding accessibility through virtual twins and strengthening collaborative functions.
The industrial robot market is rapidly growing, supported by trends like artificial intelligence (AI) and energy efficiency. As of last year, the global industrial robot market size was $16.5 billion (about 23.6 trillion won), with over 4 million robots operating in factories worldwide. Next year, the annual installation number is expected to increase to 718,000 units.
KUKA launched the open collaboration cloud platform Mosaixx last year, enabling system integrators and engineers to carry out digitization and automation work more flexibly, regardless of machine type or manufacturer.
Dassault Systèmes’ 3DX is used to virtually design and simulate products and process infrastructure before physical implementation, allowing industrial equipment companies to perform precise engineering using real-time data.
Quirin Goeertz, CEO of KUKA Digital, emphasized, “This cooperation allows us to expand the Mosaixx portfolio. Engineers can now perform simulations and analyses using real-time data, and system integrators can drive innovation with more flexible applications.”
Gian Paolo Bassi, Executive Vice President of Customer Experience at Dassault Systèmes, stated, “The partnership will enable KUKA customers to more easily utilize applications like 3DX Platform, CATIA, DELMIA, and SOLIDWORKS, offering opportunities to foster collaboration and innovation in various industries such as automotive, aerospace, electronics, and logistics.”
