1st quarter sales of 59.5 billion won with an operating profit of 8.1 billion won, ‘Cookie Run: Kingdom’ effect leads to operating profit, according to Devsisters, who released their preliminary results for the first quarter of this year on the 8th.

The company stated, “We turned to profit due to the positive sales trend of ‘Cookie Run: Kingdom’ and the improvement in profit structure through cost efficiency policy.”

‘Cookie Run: Kingdom’ saw a significant increase in average active users and new users in the first quarter, exceeding 65 million cumulative users globally excluding China, with a 40% and 225% increase respectively compared to the fourth quarter of last year.

Devsisiters also reflected some initial success of the puzzle adventure game ‘Cookie Run: Witch’s Castle,’ which surpassed 1.3 million cumulative users since its release on March 15.

The company aims to continue expanding sales through successful new game releases and the growth of existing products.

Moving forward, ‘Cookie Run: Kingdom,’ an existing live game, plans to engage users by focusing on Beast Cookies and expanding the story and content globally. They also plan to accelerate the preparation for the entrance of Crafton into the Indian market.

On June 26th, ‘Cookie Run: Adventure Tower’ will be globally released, which received positive feedback during private beta testing earlier this year for its real-time cooperative play and engaging action elements.
