Cloudy skies starting from Monday… Light rain in the central region.

After the sunny weekend, Monday the 20th is expected to be cloudy in the central region of South Korea. According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 19th, on the 20th, the Seoul metropolitan area and Gangwon Province are generally expected to be cloudy, while Chungcheong Province and Gyeongsang Province will have occasional cloudy skies.

In the morning until around 3 p.m., there will be light rain of around 1mm in parts of northern Gyeonggi and central-northern Gangwon. In Seoul, Incheon, southern Gyeonggi, and southern Gangwon, some areas may experience drizzles of less than 0.1mm.

The southern regions like Jeolla Province, Gyeongsang Province, and Jeju Island are expected to be mostly sunny. This weather will continue until the day after tomorrow, with occasional cloudy skies nationwide but sunny conditions in Jeolla and Gyeongsang Provinces.

The morning temperatures on the 20th will range from 10 to 17 degrees Celsius, while the daytime highs will be between 17 and 30 degrees Celsius. The city of Daegu is expected to reach 30 degrees, while Gwangju and Ulsan will reach 28 degrees, with the highest temperatures nearing 30 degrees in the southern regions.
