1488 Applications for 171 Spots… Written Exam to be Held on June 21
The South Chungcheong Provincial Office of Education announced on the 23rd that a total of 1,488 applicants applied for 171 positions in 11 different job categories, resulting in an average competition rate of 8.7 to 1 for the 2025 local public official recruitment exam.

– 2 positions for Archival Research attracted 17 applicants (8.5 to 1)
– 11 positions for Cooking Grade 9 attracted 164 applicants (14.9 to 1)
– 13 positions for Facility Management Grade 9 attracted 117 applicants (9.0 to 1)
– 11 positions for Driving Grade 9 attracted 61 applicants (5.6 to 1)
– 1 position for Driving Grade 9 (Veteran Recommendation) attracted 1 applicant (1.0 to 1)
In terms of gender, there were 552 male applicants (37.1%) and 936 female applicants (62.9%). By age group, there were 32 applicants (2.2%) aged 20 or younger, 771 (51.8%) aged 21-30, 363 (24.4%) aged 31-40, 244 (16.4%) aged 41-50, and 78 (5.2%) aged 51 or older.
The written exam will be held on June 21. The venue will be announced on the website of the provincial office of education on May 26, and applicants may start printing their examination tickets from that day.
Educational Administration Zone 1 includes Cheonan, Gongju, Asan, Nonsan, Gyeryong, and Geumsan, while Zone 2 covers Boryeong, Seosan, Dangjin, Buyeo, Seocheon, Cheongyang, Hongseong, Yesan, and Taean.
