Choo Kyung-ho: “Democratic Party, stop actions that disrupt constitutional order to protect Lee Jae-myung”

At the National Assembly on the morning of the 22nd, People Power Party floor leader Chu Kyung-ho urged, “The Democratic Party should immediately stop its reckless actions that destroy the constitutional order of the Republic of Korea to protect Lee Jae-myung.”

Speaking at the National Assembly’s National Audit Countermeasure Meeting, Chu said, “The Democratic Party is now moving beyond impeaching the prosecutors investigating Lee Jae-myung to impeaching the Prosecutor General and the Chief of the Central District Prosecutors’ Office.”

Chu further criticized, “The Democratic Party has declared an outdoor protest on November 2nd, with Lee Jae-myung announcing his attendance. They intend to initiate a full-fledged ‘second candlelight incitement’ in collaboration with leftist forces already holding anti-government rallies in the heart of Seoul.”

He added, “Domestically and internationally, the livelihood of citizens is tough, and security is in a grave situation with North Korean provocations and rapidly changing international circumstances. I hope the Democratic Party regains its rationality and returns to the path of caring for the lives of the people to navigate through this crisis wisely.”
