Jo Guk, interim leader of the New Party for National Innovation, announced the “New Party Vision” during an emergency meeting held at the National Assembly on the 3rd. In his announcement, he stated, “We will establish the Red Team Direct Feedback Committee to openly listen to party opinion, public sentiment, and candid critiques.”
He further elaborated that the new party vision aims to create a platform democracy focused on openness, diversity, and connectivity, where politics functions effectively when party members and the public engage. The announced democratic innovations also include forming a Direct Feedback Committee composed of various social strata, introducing a party member citizens’ assembly, and implementing a system for recommending innovative talents. Additionally, the plans include holding joint meetings with metropolitan and provincial party committees across the country.
