**Project Explanation Meeting Held in Eco Delta City**
On the 16th, a project explanation meeting was held in an apartment complex in Eco Delta City, Gangseo-gu, Busan, marking the start of the smart city pilot project. The event, organized by the SPC ‘Smart City Busan,’ which leads the smart city pilot project, invited over 100 residents to demonstrate various service robots introduced in the apartment complex.
**Four Types of Robots Introduced**
The robots introduced to the apartment complex include four types: cleaning, load-carrying, barista, and patrol robots. Residents focused on the barista robot installed in the community café. Equipped with LiDAR and vision sensors, the robots clean the community center or patrol the apartment, ensuring the safety of residents.
**Innovative Load-Carrying Robot Service**
Notably, residents who unload heavy items from their car trunks can use the ‘Load-Carrying’ robot service, which allows them to entrust their items to the robot for delivery. An LG CNS representative stated, “Various companies, including WATT, have created the robots, and LG CNS provides the integrated control platform.” They added that this is the first introduction of the platform used in parts of Seoul to the area, and they plan to expand services in the future.
