[Breaking News] Presidential Security Service: “Inappropriate Conduct During Martial Law… We Apologize for Causing the Public Distress”

During the National Assembly Steering Committee’s audit, it was revealed that the Presidential Security Service expressed regret over causing national confusion and distress to the public due to inappropriate conduct during last year’s martial law situation and the warrant execution process. Kang Byung-in, the Acting Director of Planning and Management at the Presidential Security Service, apologized for this during a National Assembly audit session concerning the Presidential Office, the National Security Office, and the Presidential Security Service. He promised that the agency would rebirth as an organization that upholds legal procedures and gains public trust through low-profile security.

Kang said, “If you sternly criticize the parts we have gotten wrong, we will humbly accept it and use it as a catalyst for the Presidential Security Service’s growth.”
