[Sports Chosun Back Jieun Reporter] Additional disclosures have emerged regarding the celebrity couple A involved in the so-called ‘hair salon fraud’ incident.
Netizen B posted a title on an online bulletin board on the 5th titled ‘Please help us from the celebrity couple scam organization’.
In this post, B claimed that the couple A, in addition to the hair salon fraud incident, also engaged in scams related to luxury goods distribution course funding and department store luxury editing shop.
According to B, the couple A advertised falsely on Wadiz, conducting funding up to the 3rd round claiming to teach how to contract with an Italian boutique for a small amount.
However, the lectures were not conducted as initially promoted, and the couple A proposed investment to the students, then took corporate shares and investment funds for themselves before cutting off contacts. Some students were even banned from selling permanently on Naver Store, without receiving the products they paid for. Also, the department store luxury editing shop has not refunded the deposit since 2021, with alleged damages exceeding 1 billion won.
B stated, “Despite the revelations of discrepancies in the curriculum from the 1st round students on Wadiz, and the ongoing lawsuit related to the department store editing shop deposit scam, they proceeded with the 2nd round of funding and increased the number of victims. The perpetrators continue their business and investment scams under family names. A, being a relatively unknown actress, also finds it challenging to make this issue known.”
The couple A is under suspicion for receiving hair care services worth 3.5 million won at a hair salon in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, but not paying for them.
