Applied Materials Participates in ‘SEMICON Korea’… Shares AI Semiconductor Technology and Trends

Applied Materials, a semiconductor equipment company, announced on the 10th that it will participate in the semiconductor industry exhibition “SEMICON Korea 2025,” which will be held at COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul from the 19th to the 21st.

Applied Materials plans to showcase its technological leadership in the semiconductor industry through various programs at the event, including keynote speeches, technical symposiums, forums, and seminars.

On the opening day of the event, the 19th, Prabu Raja, President of Applied’s Semiconductor Products Group, will give a presentation on “Accelerating Energy-Efficient Semiconductors through Collaborative Innovation.”

He plans to provide insights on improving power efficiency for semiconductor chips in the AI era and emphasize the importance of collaboration among industry, academia, and government for the sustainable future of the semiconductor industry.

In the technical symposium, two company representatives, including the Director of the Applied Materials Division and the Global Product Marketing Director, will give lectures on topics such as “Gate-All-Around (GAA) Transistors for 2nm and Beyond Technology Nodes” and “High Aspect Ratio and High Productivity Etching Technology for Next-Gen 3D Integration.”

Additionally, Applied Materials will participate in a mentoring seminar for cultivating future talents in the semiconductor industry and conduct career events for university students.
