Animal welfare Hanwoo (Korean beef) draws attention… Abundant small package sets

Hyundai Department Store is introducing a variety of Korean New Year gift sets tailored to changing holiday trends until the 28th.

One of the highlights is the eco-friendly Korean beef gift set. Notable products include the ‘Organic Beef Set’ (850,000 KRW) from Manhee Farm and Hyunwoo Farm in Haenam, Jeollanam-do, which are recognized for practicing organic livestock farming, ‘Jeju Black Korean Beef Set’ (700,000 KRW) from Hyeonjungbae Farm, and ‘Pasture-raised Ecological Livestock Korean Beef Set’ (530,000 KRW) from Satgatbong Farm.

For those seeking premium gift options, Hyundai has prepared high-end selections. Among these, the ‘Hyundai Premium Korean Beef No.9 Set’ (3,000,000 KRW) and the ‘Hyundai Premium Korean Beef Set’ (2,000,000 KRW) use only the top marbling grade from 2+ (1++) grade Korean beef.

The assortment of fruit gift sets has also been diversified. Reflecting the recent rise in prices for major fruits like apples and pears, they have significantly increased the number of fruit dessert sets, featuring stable crops like Hallabong, Shine Muscat grapes, and apple mango. A representative product is the ‘Shine Muscat, Apple, Pear, Apple Mango Jeong(情) Set’ (115,000 KRW), which includes three domestic apples, two pears, one bunch of Shine Muscat, and two Peruvian apple mangoes.

Additionally, there are the ‘Fruit Apex Jin(眞) Set’ (175,000 KRW), featuring 10 different types of fruits, one of each, such as ‘Peach Apple’ and ‘Green Sis Pear’, and the ‘H-SWEET High Sugar Apple, Pear, Shine Muscat’ (150,000 KRW), which includes fruits with a sugar level 1-2 Brix higher than the standard high-sugar criteria.

They are also offering convenient seafood gift sets, which are pre-prepared and ready to cook with minimal effort, and come in individual portions for easy storage. Prominent options include the ‘Boneless Fish Premium 6 Types’ (110,000 KRW) featuring six popular fish varieties (Spanish mackerel, mackerel, monkfish, rockfish, boarfish, pollock) and ‘Jeju Cutlassfish Lan(蘭)’ (220,000 KRW), which is 1.8 kg of Jeju cutlassfish cut into 20 pieces.

Jang Woo-seok, Managing Director of Hyundai Department Store’s Food Business Division, stated, “We plan to carefully manage the offerings so that customers’ heartfelt gratitude can be fully conveyed to their valued recipients.”
