The American Chamber of Commerce in Korea (AmCham) announced on the 22nd that it had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the City of San Francisco at the Four Seasons Hotel Seoul. Both parties plan to strengthen connections between businesses and the innovation ecosystem and to explore opportunities that can lead to tangible cooperation outcomes.

James Kim stated, “San Francisco is a leading city in innovation, entrepreneurship, and global exchanges, with great potential for collaboration in various fields such as technology, AI, culture, and investment. Through this agreement, we aim to enhance business cooperation and expand investment and exchanges, leading to tangible results.”

Mayor Lurie commented, “As Seoul and San Francisco celebrate the 50th anniversary of their sister city relationship, I am pleased to see our economic cooperation being strengthened. I hope this agreement will broaden exchanges between the two cities and expand opportunities for trade and investment.”
