Actress Jeon Mi-do to Perform in the 10th Anniversary of the Musical ‘Maybe Happy Ending’

Actor Jeon Mi-do will take the stage for the 10th anniversary performance of the musical “Maybe Happy Ending.” The production company NHN Link announced the casting for the 10th-anniversary commemorative performance of “Maybe Happy Ending,” which is set to open in October. This work is set in a near-future Seoul and depicts the journey of helper-bots Oliver and Claire, who were created to assist humans, as they learn about the emotion of love. Known as a signature piece by the “Willhew Duo,” Will Aronson and Park Cheon-hyu, the musical won six awards at the 78th Tony Awards in June, proving its artistic merit.

For this performance, the role of Oliver will be played by Kim Jae-bum, Shin Sung-min, Jeon Seong-woo, and Jung Hui. The role of Claire will feature Jeon Mi-do, Choi Soo-jin, Park Ji-yeon, Park Jin-joo, and Bang Min-ah. Notably, Jeon Mi-do, Choi Soo-jin, and Kim Jae-bum, who were part of the original 2016 cast, have confirmed special appearances for the 10th-anniversary performance.

Jeon Mi-do expressed her excitement, stating, “I wonder if there is anything more joyful for an actor than to be able to participate in a beloved piece again. I want to conclude the 10 years spent with ‘Maybe Happy Ending’ on a ‘happy ending’ note.” “Maybe Happy Ending” will be performed at the Doosan Art Center Yeon-gang Hall in Jongno-gu, Seoul, from October 30 to January 25, 2026.
