On the episode of TV CHOSUN’s ‘Love Expert’ aired on the 22nd, Shim Hyun-seop was seen retrying his proposal at the National Cemetery where his parents are buried.

Before the proposal, Shim Hyun-seop told viewers, “Today is the day of a significant decision in my life. I have prepared a ring and a message. I hesitated about when to propose for a while, but please support me to succeed today.” On the way to meet Yeong-rim at Seoul Station, Shim Hyun-seop nervously practiced his proposal speech, making those who watched him feeling anxious since his rehearsal lines kept getting mixed up.

After taking a deep breath, Shim Hyun-seop sat back at the table and during an interview with the production team, he said, “My mother said at the hospital, ‘I wish I could see a grandson who looks like you.’ Suddenly, while eating pork cutlet, that thought came to my mind and I felt embarrassed.”

Eventually, the two of them visited Shim Hyun-seop’s parents’ graves together. Shim Hyun-seop faced his parents’ graves and said, “I want to get married now,” and started to propose. With trembling hands, he opened the ring case and confessed, saying, “I hope you can be my lifelong companion.” However, Yeong-rim, feeling flustered, just smiled without saying anything.
