11th Street to Hold Largest Annual Shopping Festival ‘Grand 11th Day’

“11st announced on the 25th that it will hold the ‘2024 Grand Festival’ on November 1, the largest shopping festival of the year. The Grand Festival, which has been celebrated every November since 2008 when 11st was launched, is the largest annual discount event and has established November as the ‘shopping peak season’ in the distribution industry. Last year, it attracted around 7 million customers (based on the mobile application).

This year’s Grand Festival will run for 11 days and will include top domestic and international brands with confirmed customer preference. The number of ‘premium partnership’ brands featured prominently in the event has significantly increased to 200, compared to 140 the previous year. Popular brands like Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics, CJ CheilJedang, Coca-Cola, Amorepacific, LG Household & Health Care, Dyson, Lego, and Roborock will participate, offering a variety of special-priced products and purchase benefits.

Amidst persistent high inflation, ‘deal products’ with high discount rates and price competitiveness have also expanded. 11st’s representative shopping corners will feature more diverse deals during the event period, including Time Deals (limited-time special prices), 10-Minute Rush (online lowest price for 10 minutes), Experience Deal (products under 3000 won with free shipping), and Lunch Special Deal (e-coupon special sale). ‘LIVE11,’ 11st’s live commerce platform, plans to offer numerous broadcast-exclusive benefits across 81 live broadcasts showcasing brand-specific special-priced products.

During the same period, the ‘Amazon Global Store’ will also hold the ‘Amazon Festival’ event. ‘Deal products’ chosen by 11st’s Merchandise Directors (MDs), including bestsellers for overseas direct purchasing, as well as popular items in categories such as digital devices, supplements, kitchenware, cosmetics, and hobby products, will be discounted.
