Webzen, led by CEO Kim Tae-young, is gearing up for the official launch of the MMORPG ‘R2 ORIGIN,’ attracting significant attention. On August 20th, the company launched a brand site following the teaser website, beginning communications with potential players.
The brand site features a cinematic video that captures the atmosphere of ‘R2 ORIGIN’ and reveals new game information, building anticipation. The game’s main classes, showcased with identical graphics to the actual game, received praise, and the world view and content revealed alongside also drew interest from users.
Key content includes the Chaos Dungeon, where users can enjoy battles and boss competitions simultaneously, as well as other features like the Tower of Overcoming, Soul Stone Dungeon, and Fame. Before its release, ‘R2 ORIGIN’ is expanding its interactions with potential users.
Along with the brand site launch, pre-registration has begun, accompanied by various events, including a character name reservation event, to reach out to potential players. The character name reservation event allows players to enjoy R2 ORIGIN with their desired character names. It can be applied for by logging into the brand site through official community accounts, and while some servers have closed, others are still actively recruiting.
Benefits for potential players are also enhanced.
