Ministry of Science and ICT. ⓒDailyanDB, ‘[Dailyan = Reporter Kim Sohee] The Ministry of Science and ICT is accepting applications for participation in the overseas demonstration support project for AI·digital transformation innovative companies until May 12.’,
,
, ‘The project was newly established to support domestic AI·digital companies with excellent technological capabilities in securing successful references overseas and rapidly gaining a foothold in the global market as the so-called ‘AI Transformation (AX)’ market expands with the adoption of AI in various industrial sectors to innovate work and management systems.’,
,
, ‘In this regard, the Ministry of Science and ICT has designated four fields with high AX demand (healthcare, manufacturing, education, agriculture, and livestock) as priority targets for this year. The ministry aims to select companies to participate in a total of eight projects (two per field) and provide funding for the adoption, implementation, and performance verification of AI solutions at overseas companies and institutions.’,
,
, ‘Considering the challenges domestic startups face in independently identifying overseas demonstration demand sources, professional agencies will advance by identifying, verifying, and presenting a total of 29 demand sources through a designated public offering method, with overseas demand source representatives participating in the selection process.’,
,
, ‘Additionally, this year’s project plans to focus on pioneering new markets by ensuring that more than 50% of the demand sources for the entire project include governments, public institutions, and major companies from emerging regions such as the Middle East, Latin America, and Southeast Asia, where AX demand is high.’,
,
, ‘Park Tae-whan, ICT Industry Policy Officer of the Ministry of Science and ICT, stated, “As AX across all industrial sectors becomes more prevalent with the rapid development and spread of AI, there are sufficient market entry opportunities and growth potential for our innovative technology companies,” emphasizing that they will continue to actively support domestic AI·digital companies in leveraging successful overseas demonstration references as a stepping stone to global advancement.’
