“The 2025 G-Star’ to be Held at BEXCO in Busan with Record-Breaking Scale”

The global game exhibition ‘G-STAR 2025’, which showcases trends in the domestic and international gaming industry, will be held at BEXCO in Busan for four days starting from the 13th. This year, the event is set to be the largest ever, with 1,273 companies from 44 countries setting up 3,269 booths.

Under the slogan ‘Expand your Horizons,’ this year’s G-STAR will feature exhibitions, business consultations, conferences, and e-sports events. Major gaming companies from Korea and abroad, such as NCSoft, Krafton, Netmarble, and Google Play, will participate.

NCSoft will join as the main sponsor for the first time and operate a large exhibition experience hall with 300 booths. Blizzard, known for games like StarCraft, will return to G-STAR after 12 years with an interactive booth. Participation from major international gaming companies, including Japan’s SEGA ATLUS, Bandai Namco, Czech’s Warhorse Studios, and the engine developer Unity, is also a highlight.

The event will include the G-CON game conference, featuring speakers such as game developers, film directors, and webtoon artists. The ‘Indie Showcase 2.0: Galaxy’, which will present various games, will host a record 80 development companies.

From the 13th to the 15th, the ‘G-STAR Cup 2025’, a special Overwatch 2 tournament, will be held at the e-sports arena and a special stage at the second exhibition hall, attracting the attention of gaming fans. The Busan Joint Pavilion will also operate to explore new opportunities in the gaming industry through business consultations.

As a side event, the Korea Game Awards will be held on the 12th. Games nominated for the main award include Legend of Ymira (Wemade XR), Mabinogi Mobile (devCAT), Vampyr (Netmarble Neo), and Seven Knights Rebirth (Netmarble Nexus).

To ensure convenience and safety for visitors, the event organizers will designate the area from the main entrance of BEXCO to the Centum City subway station as a car-free zone during the event. A 100% advance reservation policy was also established to prevent safety incidents and manage crowd density.
