Jeju Tour Week Campaign Ends in Collaboration with Devsisters and Jeju Tourism Organization
[Seoul=Newsis] Reporter Lee Juyoung reports that Devsisters has concluded its Jeju Tour Week campaign in collaboration with the Jeju Tourism Organization on the 15th. In June, Devsisters and the Jeju Tourism Organization signed a business agreement to promote Jeju travel content and jointly conducted the Jeju Tour Week campaign for six months. During this period, Cookie Run served as a promotional mascot for Jeju travel.
Last summer, they operated a Cookie Run welcome booth at Jeju International Airport for tourists visiting Jeju. They showcased a Cookie Run balloon featuring a brave cookie wearing a tangerine hat, costume-themed cookie mascots, and various Cookie Run merchandise across Jeju.
A large-scale Cookie Run stamp tour was also implemented, covering over 100 tourist sites in 12 major locations in Jeju, including Hallim, Aewol, Sehwa, and Seongsan. They provided opportunities to explore famous tourist attractions like Seongsan Ilchulbong, Jeju Folk Village, Camellia Hill, and Hallim Park, as well as lesser-known spots such as Shinpyung Gotjawal Race, Hankyung Jeju Oreum Trekking, and Andeok Buckwheat Flower Trekking.
Local programs included activities such as the “Sehwa Do-Farming Trail Run” harvesting local ingredients, “Pyo-seon Mind Bongggi” picking up trash while walking on the beach, and the “Sustainable Jeju-Making Experience” creating recycled items like coaster decorations from old clothes or whale tail keyrings from used Haenyeo suits.
Devsisters continues to engage in various social activities using intellectual property (IP). Recently, they held a special exhibition at Deoksugung Palace in collaboration with the Cultural Heritage Administration. Additionally, they are pursuing collaborations to expand cultural and arts projects in Gangnam District. Next year, they plan to hold a comprehensive exhibition featuring ten artworks from the “Art Collaboration Project” created with traditional intangible cultural artisans.
