T1 mid laner ‘Faker’ Sang-hyeok selected as an inductee for the ‘Hall of Legends’.

Faker, Lee Sang-hyeok, the mid laner for T1, has been selected as an inaugural inductee into the ‘Hall of Legends.’ Riot Games announced on the 23rd that Faker was the first name to be inscribed in the newly created ‘Hall of Legends,’ recognizing individuals who have positively influenced the gaming, sports, and community sectors.

Faker, known for his exceptional skills, has achieved four World Championship titles and is renowned worldwide for his unmatched success in League of Legends esports. He has also won the Mid-Season Invitational twice and clinched 10 championships in the LCK (League of Legends Champions Korea), solidifying his status as one of the greatest players in the game’s history.

In addition to his outstanding gaming achievements, Faker has been recognized for his contributions to esports and society. He has actively engaged in various charitable activities and continues to inspire others with his exemplary conduct both in and out of the game.

To commemorate Faker’s induction into the ‘Hall of Legends,’ a special in-game event in League of Legends will be held, allowing fans to acquire unique commemorative content celebrating his legendary journey.
