SKB has released a sustainability report that includes medium- to long-term management goals for sustainable growth, such as ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) and business performance, as its fourth report since 2021, according to a report on the 24th.
SK Broadband incorporated the sustainability disclosure framework announced by ISSB (International Sustainability Standards Board) under the IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) Foundation for the first time in this report.
In particular, the process of selecting sustainability issues has been enhanced by evaluating the financial impact, and the sustainability management report was written according to the four important disclosure frameworks of ISSB, which include ‘Governance – Strategy – Risk Management – Indicators and Targets’.
Recently, SK Broadband has achieved recognition in the ESG sector, including winning the ‘Carbon Management Sector Honors’, obtaining certification in information security and personal information protection management systems, and establishing an Ethics Management Committee.
Joh Young-ho, in charge of ESG at SK Broadband, stated, “Through various ESG activities, the company will grow together with all stakeholders, including customers and business partners, and fulfill its social responsibilities.”
