**Galaxy AI and Active Noise Cancelling Support**
**Improved Sound Quality with Blade Design**
**Global Rollout Starting This Month… Domestic Price Undecided**
Samsung Electronics unveiled the budget-friendly wireless earbuds (TWS) “Galaxy Buds3 FE,” featuring artificial intelligence (AI) functions and active noise cancelling, on the 19th.
The newly released Galaxy Buds3 FE offer the user experience of the existing Galaxy Buds3 series. They incorporate the blade design of the Galaxy Buds3 series, and support enhanced audio performance and Galaxy AI functions.
The Galaxy Buds3 FE are tuned to deliver rich sound by reproducing deep bass and clear treble. They also support enhanced Active Noise Cancelling (ANC), which reduces ambient noise. ANC allows users to enjoy immersive sound by blocking out external noise.
The microphone positioning has also been optimized to improve the quality of sound reception. Based on a machine learning model, the user’s voice is transmitted clearly to the other party, ensuring smooth calls even while using the Buds3 FE.
The operation method is intuitive. Users can perform simple actions such as swiping the blade up and down or pinching with their fingers to use functions like volume control. Functions like volume adjustment or playing the next track, which are executed through these actions, can be customized by the user.
Connecting to Galaxy devices like smartphones, tablets, and PCs is also easy with the pairing button on the case. The device offers an “Auto Switch” feature that automatically transitions the connection between Galaxy products and Galaxy Buds3 FE. For example, if the user is using a Galaxy smartphone and starts playing content on a Galaxy Book, the Buds3 FE automatically connect to the Galaxy Book.
The Buds3 FE support various AI features as well. Users can call up Gemini by saying a command like “Hey Google” or pressing the blade for a long time, allowing them to interact with Gemini to check schedules and messages without taking out their smartphone.
The series supports the voice translation feature, which is available when connected to a Galaxy smartphone. By using the “Listening Mode” in the translation app, users can hear lectures in foreign languages in real-time in their own language. The “Conversation Mode” can be effectively used for talking with foreigners.
The Galaxy Buds3 FE will be released sequentially worldwide starting in the U.S. and Europe on the 5th of this month, with a domestic release planned for September. The U.S. market price is set at $149.99 (approximately 208,000 KRW), while the domestic price is yet to be determined. They will be available in two colors: black and gray.
