Naver to Exclusively Broadcast ‘LoL KeSPA Cup’ Live

Naver’s streaming platform Cizzic will exclusively broadcast all matches of the League of Legends esports tournament ‘2024 LoL KeSPA CUP’ in Korean, from November 30 to December 8.

The KeSPA Cup is the only domestic short-term League of Legends tournament hosted by the Korea e-Sports Association. After its last event in 2021, it is being held again for the first time in three years and has been designated as a selection indicator review tournament for the national esports team starting this year.

Since its official launch in May, Cizzic has continuously enhanced the infrastructure for the exclusive broadcast of the KeSPA Cup. In September, they established dedicated channels for major League of Legends events such as the League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) and the World Championship, offering up to 10 seconds faster streaming than other platforms. They also updated the streaming quality to deliver real-time broadcasts in high-resolution video regardless of streamer status.

From its early days, Cizzic has maintained partnerships with major esports teams like KT Rolster, Dplus KIA, and Nongshim RedForce, recruiting their players as partner streamers to broaden its League of Legends audience. By engaging former professional LoL players and commentators as partner streamers, Cizzic provides a differentiated viewing experience with in-depth commentary from experts, increasing the level of engagement.

Cizzic has also prepared various events for streamers and viewers enjoying the exclusive LoL KeSPA Cup broadcast. During the KeSPA Cup period, streamers hosting ‘Watch Together’ sessions can win Naver Pay points through a lottery. Events such as leaving team support messages, predicting match outcomes, and creating streamer reaction clips will allow viewers to enjoy the matches more interactively.

Naver Cizzic leader Kim Jung-mi stated, “Cizzic plans to continue offering a variety of game-related content favored by its users, including League of Legends, Valorant, Overwatch, and Battlegrounds. We aim to build an ecosystem where streamers and fans can grow together and expand esports content support to establish our platform at the center of streaming culture.”
