**Naver Launches ‘Naver Delivery’ in March**
– Delivery Days Diversified: Same-Day Delivery Begins
– Introduces Free Returns and Exchanges
Naver’s logistics solution ‘Naver Arrival Guarantee’ will be rebranded as ‘Naver Delivery (N-Delivery)’ and will expand its services. Naver announced on the 28th that they will introduce a more segmented delivery service including “today delivery,” “tomorrow delivery,” “Sunday delivery,” and “desired day delivery” starting in March.
The “today delivery” service ensures that products ordered between midnight and 11 AM will arrive the same day. “Tomorrow delivery” guarantees next-day arrival for orders placed from 11 AM until midnight.
Additional options include “Sunday delivery,” for orders placed between 11 AM and midnight on Saturdays, and “desired day delivery,” allowing customers to specify their preferred delivery date.
As delivery options become more detailed, customers will have a clearer understanding of when their purchased items will arrive. Naver aims to ensure that products are delivered on the specified date without needing customers to check the delivery status.
Naver also plans to introduce “dawn delivery,” allowing evening orders to be received by dawn the next day, and “now delivery,” which delivers within an hour of placing an order, later this year.
The synergy with the upcoming AI-based shopping app, Naver Plus Store, is another aspect Naver is looking forward to. By clicking on the Naver Delivery filter in the Naver Plus Store, users can sort products by the fastest delivery options like today or tomorrow delivery. Analysis of user and product-specific delivery preferences will enhance their AI-based logistics data platform.
Naver expects that the introduction of Naver Delivery will reduce average delivery times by up to two hours by the end of the year compared to last year.
Free shipping will be extended, along with free returns and exchanges. Naver Plus membership holders will receive free shipping on purchases over 10,000 won, along with return and exchange services. Naver plans to directly support the costs of return shipping and disposal for sellers to encourage participation in free return and exchange policies without cost burdens.
