KT announced on the 19th that it would run the ‘Wise Independent Living’ campaign until September, targeting Gen Y single-person households aged 34 or younger, offering benefits in telecommunications, meal options, and daily conveniences.
In this campaign, various discounts have been tailored for customers who have started living independently, allowing them to use the internet without worrying about communication costs. Customers who have family members using KT can avail of the ‘Family Separation’ discount to access internet services for around 10,000 KRW per month. Individuals can also benefit from combined mobile and internet discounts and exclusive KT Shop promotions for cost-effective usage. Moreover, KT offers a special deal where new internet subscribers receive an ‘LG Smart Monitor Swing’ as a gift, with more benefits proportional to their usage, and an additional 10,000 KRW Starbucks voucher for Y customers.
A key part of this campaign is a collaboration with the comprehensive food company Ottogi. To ease meal preparations for single-person households, KT will select 1,000 new internet subscribers each month to receive a ‘Y x Ottogi Collaboration Meal Set’ valued at 50,000 KRW. This stylishly designed package by Y artist ‘Dding Dding Club’ includes unique merchandise such as a pot holder and hand towel, created in collaboration with artists.
The campaign benefits can be accessed and coupons downloaded through KT’s exclusive platform for Y customers, the ‘Y Box’ app. The app also offers news about the campaign and other exclusive benefits and events for Y customers.
