\nKakao Games announced on the 7th that it will host the offline PC bang (PC café) event ‘PLAY PUBG IN Seomyeon’ for ‘Kakao Battlegrounds,’ developed by PUBG Studio under Krafton, from the 15th to the 17th.
The event will be held at ‘Optimum Zone PC Café Seomyeon Branch,’ a collaborative PC café with Kakao Games. It is scheduled to take place alongside ‘CAFÉ PUBG’ from G-Star 2024.
During the event, there will be a total of 12 play zones operated across four sessions each day. Visitors who have pre-registered can enter at their designated times and enjoy ‘Battlegrounds’ for two hours.
Participants can join event matches with other users, and all participants will receive 1,000 in-game currency, G-Coin. High-ranking players in event matches will have the chance to receive up to a ‘10,000 G-Coin’ coupon and physical prizes.
A special match with special guests is also planned. Visitors to the play zone from 6 PM to 8 PM daily can team up with the special guests and enjoy the game.
On the 16th at 5 PM, a collaborative event with ‘Changhyun Street Karaoke’ will be held. Participants who cosplay as ‘Battlegrounds’ characters will receive special prizes such as G-Coin coupons and Kakao Friends merchandise.
Kakao Games will also operate shuttle buses every hour on-site for ‘Battlegrounds’ users.
