Kakao Games has officially announced that the new game based on SM Entertainment’s IP (intellectual property) will be named “SMiniz.” The game, previously referred to as “SM Game Station,” is set to feature miniature characters resembling SM’s artists. It is a mobile casual game where players can solve puzzles with their favorite characters.
In the game, players take on the role of a manager for SM artists, where they can enjoy puzzle stages, collect digital photo cards featuring member characteristics, and gather costumes. The game will include fan culture-inspired content, like photo card decorating.
Kakao Games also unveiled the brand identity (BI) for “SMiniz,” symbolizing growth, passion, light, and rhythm. The BI reflects the energy of a stage created by SM artists’ growth and fan passion, with a logo that represents the artist’s growth emanating from a central light.
“SMiniz” aims for an official release in the first quarter of 2026 and is designed as a self-developed title targeting a global audience. Kakao Games will handle global publishing and services, with Metabora responsible for game development and SM Entertainment providing the group IPs.
