Jung Woo-jin, CEO of NHN, stated in his 2025 New Year’s address, “We will build a corporate structure where the company and its members grow together by generating stable profits,” setting this year’s management goals to strengthen internal stability and achieve more than a 30% increase in gaming business sales.
In his New Year’s message shared with employees on January 2, CEO Jung mentioned, “The internal and external business environment remains uncertain, but we must continue group-wide efforts to overcome the crisis to strengthen financial soundness and improve profitability.” He emphasized, “As the efforts of the past years are starting to show improvements in profitability, we will continue to streamline loss-making businesses and optimize corporate structures.”
Regarding NHN’s main business, the gaming division, Jung stated, “We aim for more than 30% growth in overall gaming business sales this year. To achieve this, we will further strengthen Hangame’s top competitiveness in web board games and solidify NHN’s presence in the global market with various new titles, including ‘Darkest Days’ and ‘Abyssdia.'”
He added, “For a stable and sustainable growth throughout the year, I hope we can establish a robust organizational framework as a strong company and move together towards a unified goal,” urging for cooperation from all members.
CEO Jung concluded by expressing, “2025 will be a year for NHN to make another leap forward. Let’s all unite under the name ‘we’ and create new achievements together.”
