“Choi Ji-woong, CEO of KT Cloud, outlined the company’s management direction as a speaker at the ‘KT Cloud Summit 2025’ held on the 30th.”

CEO Choi set forth the KT Cloud business goals as follows: △Establish technology across cloud platforms and AI data centers (DC) △Create the largest customized and open AI ecosystem in Korea △Develop integrated solutions offering connectivity and scalability among AI, cloud, and DC.

It aims to further advance the existing cloud, data center, and AI cloud business from the customer’s perspective.

CEO Choi stated, “We will provide high-quality service at reasonable prices and flexible usability,” adding, “We will prioritize enhancing customer value.”

He continued, “To respond to the rapidly changing digital transformation era, we will continuously strengthen our core technology capabilities and strive to advance as a technology-centric company,” and added, “We will concretize technology innovation and future visions, continue changes and innovations, and contribute to enhancing customer value and activating the ecosystem in collaboration with partners.”

In the subsequent presentation, Kong Yong-jun, head of the cloud department, explained the integrated AI solution platform ‘AI Foundry,’ which provides all AI services.

Key points included the ‘All-in-One AI Hub’ offering services from hardware to GPU-as-a-service (GPUaaS), MLOps, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and industry-specific solutions; the role of KT Cloud in fulfilling hub functions based on an open ecosystem, optimal data platform provision, and operation know-how.

Huh Yeong-man, head of the DC division, shared trends in the data center market centered around AI and KT Cloud’s response strategy, notably revealing plans to expand DC infrastructure to over 320 MW by 2030.

Director Huh stated, “With differentiated technology and product strategies based on high-efficiency cooling technologies like direct chip cooling (D2C) liquid cooling, AI autonomous operation platforms, and the AI infrastructure operation platform ‘DIMS,’ we aim to establish ourselves as a leader in AIDC.”
