Choi Soo-yeon, Naver CEO, received approximately 1.6 billion won in compensation in the first half of the year.


Today (14th), according to Naver’s semi-annual report, CEO Choi Soo-yeon’s total compensation for the first half of the year amounted to 1.591 billion won, the highest amount within the company.

Looking at CEO Choi’s compensation details, the salary was 350 million won, other income based on welfare standards was 13 million won, and the bonus was 1.228 billion won.

Naver explained that the bonus was paid to CEO Choi based on factors such as operating revenue and contributions to company performance.

Naver’s founder and Global Investment Officer (GIO), Lee Hae-jin, received a total compensation of 1.248 billion won, including a salary of 620 million won and a bonus of 560 million won.

As of the end of June, excluding registered directors, Naver had 4,441 employees, and the average salary per person in the first half of the year was calculated at 76 million won.
