, ‘Crosier used the example of the UK’s Biobank, where data on over 50,000 individuals with over 10,000 variables per person was shared for use. He explained, “Through over 50,000 volunteers, medical information was shared and transferred to the AWS cloud. It has become the largest data platform in the medical field, enhancing health and welfare through its use by academia, hospitals, and research institutes.”‘,

, ‘He also shared examples of smart city services utilizing open data. Crosier mentioned, “AWS supported the launch of Singapore’s digital platform ‘SingPass’,” and said, “4.5 million citizens can now handle all information services electronically over the Internet.”‘,

Last October, AWS announced that it will invest 7.85 trillion won in domestic cloud infrastructure by 2027. Crosier mentioned, “It is expected to contribute as much as 110 billion dollars to overall Korean economic development,” and stated, “We have a strong will to contribute to the public sector and actively invest in the budget.”‘,
