Apple has launched a new lineup of MacBook Pros equipped with more powerful chips, according to reports by The Verge and other foreign media on the 30th (local time).

On this day, Apple introduced the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros with the M4, M4 Pro, and M4 Max chips. This time, even the budget-friendly 14-inch MacBook Pro has added a USB-C and Thunderbolt 4 port on the right side and the Space Black color option.

The new M4 Pro and M4 Max MacBook Pros have upgraded their RAM from 18GB to 24GB. Both models are fitted with three Thunderbolt 5 ports that offer a data transfer speed of up to 120Gb/s. The 14-inch MacBook Pro with the M4 chip also increased its RAM capacity from 8GB to 16GB.

The M4 Pro model boasts a 14-core CPU with 10 performance cores and 4 efficiency cores, and up to a 20-core GPU, which is twice as powerful as the M4. Its memory bandwidth increases by 75% compared to the previous generation and is up to three times faster than models equipped with the M1 Pro.

All three models, M4, M4 Pro, and M4 Max, are equipped with a 12-megapixel front camera that offers improved image quality, and can be configured with a new nano-texture option that supports up to 1,000 nits of SDR brightness and 1,600 nits of HDR.
