AhnLab announced on the 30th that it has released a container security dedicated solution, ‘AhnLab Container Security,’ enhancing the features of the cloud workload security platform ‘AhnLab CPP.’
AhnLab Container Security is in the form of a plugin for AhnLab CPP, and it is characterized by checking vulnerabilities and assessing service impact of running container images. It also visualizes the configuration status of container assets and inspection results of container images.
A container image is a template that bundles all the elements necessary to run a program in existing IT environments or in the cloud. The company explained that the solution reflects the needs of customers who want to securely maintain and manage various services provided in the cloud.
Kim Chang-hee, head of AhnLab’s product service planning department, stated, “Customers can use the comprehensive security perspective to operate cloud security from the existing host protection functions to the newly added container security functions through the AhnLab CPP single management screen.”
