From early morning, the staff at the Presidential Office have been arriving at the Yongsan building as usual.
It seems that the staff will be watching the impeachment trial verdict, which will be announced in about three and a half hours, on TV at the office. Some high-ranking aides may move to the Hannam-dong residence to watch the results with President Yoon.
Since the date for the verdict was set, the Presidential Office has issued a brief statement saying they would “wait calmly for the results” and have refrained from making any official comments since then.
With today’s verdict having a significant impact on President Yoon and the organization of the Presidential Office, they are on edge while paying close attention to the outcome.

President Yoon will not attend the verdict in person today, but is there a possibility that he will make a statement afterward?

It seems that President Yoon will not deliver a separate message before the Constitutional Court’s verdict.
However, after the verdict is announced, it is expected that he will express his position in some form.
President Yoon is also expected to watch the verdict live on TV from the Hannam-dong residence with First Lady Kim Kun-hee and his legal team.
If the impeachment is dismissed and he returns to his duties, President Yoon might come to this office in the afternoon to receive a work report and potentially deliver a public address.
However, if the impeachment is upheld, President Yoon will be immediately removed from office and will have to leave his residence.
