Prime Minister Kim Min-seok stated that he will serve as the national comprehensive situation office head to ensure the realization of the government’s direction and as the “dawn prime minister” who protects the nation’s dawn.
At his inauguration ceremony held today at the Government Complex Sejong, Prime Minister Kim expressed his commitment to overcoming the scars of the civil unrest and the second IMF crisis, and to becoming a chief of staff who ushers in an era of a great Republic of Korea, its great people, and a great president.
He further emphasized that reflecting on the past has taught him that the sky and the people are what he fears and is grateful for the most, and he has realized that change in people is more fundamental than changes in systems. He expressed confidence that the Republic of Korea will stride forward this time as well.
Attending the inauguration with a red tie featuring a sheep, Prime Minister Kim mentioned this detail and pledged to passionately work for finding the socially vulnerable.
