【Anchor】President Yoon Suk-yeol, who is on a state visit to three Central Asian countries, will hold a summit meeting in Kazakhstan, the second country he is visiting. Earlier, in Turkmenistan, he attended a business forum and emphasized the need to accelerate economic cooperation between the two countries. This is reporter Lee Gijong.
【Reporter】President Yoon Suk-yeol attended a business forum of Turkmenistan and South Korean businessmen. He stated that Turkmenistan, the world’s fourth-largest natural gas producer, and South Korea, with industrial experience and advanced technology, have much to do together.

– “We must further accelerate the pace of economic cooperation between our two countries, like the famous Akhal-Teke horses of Turkmenistan.”
President Yoon concluded his visit to Turkmenistan by meeting with the country’s leader, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and having a friendly dinner with his wife Kim Geon-hee. Berdimuhamedov was impressed by the couple’s love for animals and gave them a national horse breed, Akhal-Teke, as a gift.
Upon arriving in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, the next stop of his state visit, President Yoon held a meeting with around 120 local Korean residents.

Today, President Yoon will hold a summit meeting with President Tokayev of Kazakhstan to discuss ways to strengthen their strategic partnership.
