Party Approval Ratings: Democratic Party 44.9%, People Power Party 30.3%
President Yoon Suk-yeol’s approval rating has returned to the mid-20% range for the first time in six weeks, according to a recent poll.
In the Realmeter poll for the third week of November, President Yoon received a positive evaluation of 25.7% for his performance, a 2.0 percentage point increase from the previous week. This follows a record-low of 22.3% two weeks ago, with a consecutive rise over two weeks.
The negative evaluation of his performance decreased by 2.7 percentage points to 70.3%. The gap between positive and negative evaluations is 44.6 percentage points, beyond the margin of error. Those who responded with “don’t know” accounted for 4.0%.
The daily indicators of President Yoon’s performance evaluation showed 24.8% positive (71.4% negative) on the 15th, 25.7% positive (71.3% negative) on the 19th, 26.0% positive (70.7% negative) on the 20th, and 25.3% positive (69.9% negative) on the 21st.
Party approval ratings showed the Democratic Party at 44.9% and the People Power Party at 30.3%, each decreasing by 2.6 and 1.3 percentage points from the previous week, respectively.
Following were the National Innovation Party at 7.8%, the Reform Party at 3.2%, the Progressive Party at 1.0%, and other parties at 1.6%.
This survey was conducted by Realmeter at the request of Energy Economic News from November 18 to 22, targeting 2,508 voters aged 18 and over. The survey used automatic response methods through wireless (97%) and wired (3%) random dialing. The margin of error is ±2.0 percentage points at a 95% confidence level. The party approval survey was conducted over two days, November 21 and 22, with 1,003 adults nationwide, with a margin of error of ±3.1 percentage points at a 95% confidence level.
