Democratic Party floor leader Park Chan-dae criticized People Power Party leader Han Dong-hoon, stating that Han has bowed down to President Yoon Suk-yeol and his wife, labeling him not as a symbol of “strong on the strong and weak on the weak,” but rather “strong on the weak and weak on the strong.”
During the Supreme Council meeting, Park claimed that even though President Yoon disregarded all of Han’s demands in his public statement, Han portrayed it as if his demands were met, calling it sophistry.
Park further expressed that it is pitiful that the leader of the ruling party cannot voice criticism against the president’s outright rejection of a special investigation into Kim Keon-hee. He remarked that past crimes cannot be punished through the second assistant office or a special inspector.
He then urged Han and the People Power Party to stop making excuses about toxic clauses and present an acceptable proposal for a special investigation into Kim that the public can agree with.
